How Instruction Works

Our teaching model combines direct instruction, guided practice, and hands-on learning to create a balanced, engaging session. A typical session includes:

  1. Targeted instruction on specific skills

  2. Student practice with teacher feedback

  3. Interactive, game-based activities

During the first session, students complete a comprehensive assessment so we can determine strengths, skill gaps, and where instruction should begin. After every session, students take home a learning report summarizing the skills covered. Students also earn “Learning Bucks,” which can be exchanged for prizes—encouraging effort, responsibility, and positive learning habits.

We provide flexible seating options (such as hokki stools and stability balls) to support student comfort and focus.

Program Structure

Tutoring is offered in a 2:1 setting (Pre-K through 5th grade) and 1:1 setting (6th through 12th grade) with a licensed teacher in a quiet, enclosed classroom. Families may choose one or multiple content areas, homework support, or weekly test preparation. Instruction is always individualized based on student needs.

  • Cost: $55 per session, per student (Pre-K through 5th grade)

    • $70.00 per session, per student (6th through 12th grade)

  • Frequency: 1–2 sessions per week throughout the school year

  • Consistency: Monthly billing based on the scheduled weekly time

  • Flexibility: Make-up sessions are available for missed appointments

To maintain instructional continuity, we are unable to remove missed sessions from invoices but are happy to arrange a make-up time.

Registration Details

A $50 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve a student’s tutoring spot. This fee supports the preparation of learning materials, instructional resources, and curriculum planning, and it secures placement for the school year.

After You Register

  1. We will contact you to confirm the day and time of your student’s sessions.

  2. You will receive a confirmation email to approve the schedule.

  3. An invoice for the $50 registration fee will be sent and may be paid by cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle.

  4. Once payment is received, your spot is officially secured.
